Often the question “What is your DR Plan?” is asked by executive management, investors or other key personnel involved with the business such as banks or insurance agencies. Many times an inadequate answer is given that doesn’t instill 100% confidence in the party requesting the information.

We have a standard DR audit process that we can execute as a third party independent auditor and file a comprehensive report that can be used whenever questioned about a DR process. This process focuses on the eight key areas of a DR plan and reports on the viability of each area. The report outlines the key areas that are commonly addressed when referring to DR Plans. Standard nightly backups still remain an integral part of any DR solution. While many times overlooked as a component of modern DR plans the fact remains that in most cases backups utilizing media that is taken offsite is often the last line of defense before crucial data may be lost. Recent trends and innovations have led to a multitude of new backup and recovery technologies.

Our DR workshops educate your staff on what can be done to enhance your business’s ability to prepare for and recover from a disaster. Our objective is to ensure that you and your staff are informed of the current technologies that can be used to create robust business systems.

We will review the current technologies available to you from both Disaster Recovery and Business Continuance perspectives and discuss what can be implemented based on your existing equipment investment. We will address the key components of a Comprehensive DR plan and create an outline appropriate to your business. Information on bridging the gap between unrealistic expectations and what can be reasonably implemented will be presented. On the final day we will review components of the existing environment and map out DR options that we suggest should be implemented to enhance your business's robustness and stability.
